Your first visit to USA Health and Therapy establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information pertaining to the nature of your complaint, your medical history, your social history and other information, while giving you time to get to know your chiropractor. As our patient, you will undergo all of the proper diagnostic procedures to assure that your treatment will be personalized to your needs. Remember being a good doctor is also being a good historian.

Dr. Singer will require you to provide your medical history, which will be essential for him in preparing a course of treatment for you. Your other doctors and medical records, such as diagnostic testing, or imaging results, such as X-rays and MRI’s, will also provide important information about your condition.
There are certain things in your health history that are particularly vital to a chiropractor. This information could provide important clues that will allow Dr. Singer to properly diagnose and treat your problem. These clues include whether you have or have had:
- Previous injuries, like automobile, sports or workers comp. accidents
- Pervious circulatory insults like stroke or aneurysm.
- Heart conditions such as hypertension or high blood pressure
- Bone disorders, such as fractures or osteoporosis
- Previous disc injuries like bulging, protrusion, or herniation
- Joint disorders such as arthritis
- Dizziness or blurred vision
- Infections, especially those affecting your spine
Be prepared to answer questions that you may think are not important, because every answer is another piece of the puzzle that when added together gives us the complete picture of you, the newest member of our family.
